2013 Student Research Competition
The Applied Public Health Statistics Section of APHA announces the 2013 Student Research Competition. Four students will be invited to present at the Annual APHA Meeting in Boston, MA (Nov 2-6, 2013) with the top student research recognized during our Awards Ceremony. Registration, 2013 Annual Fees and Prizes will be awarded to all finalists.
ELIGIBILITY:
Students must be members of APHA and the Apllied Public Health Statistics Section. Masters, Doctoral, and first-year Post-doctoral students are invited to apply.
DEADLINE:
April 19, 2013. The 4 finalists will be notified in April 2013
RULES:
- Abstracts and papers must be submitted to Trent Lalonde
- Papers will be judged for their statistical methodology and potential impact on public health.
- Co-authors are allowed as long as students are responsible for the majority of the work.
PRIZES:
In addition to Registration & 2013 Annual fees, a monetary prize and the most recent version of STATA will be awarded to finalists.
