About School Health Education and Services

What constitutes a SHES member???

SHES members have an interest in the practice of public health in preschool, K-12 school, and college settings.

SHES professionals work to enhance school health promotion, health care and services, and health literacy through coordinated school health programs.  

SHES researchers and practitioners address a broad range of school health issues such as obesity prevention, reduction of youth risk-taking behavior, delivery of asthma care, HIV/STD/Pregnancy prevention, environmental protection, and policy development.
