DHHS Emerging Leaders Program
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will accept applications for the Emerging Leaders Program from Monday, November, 16 until 11:59 p.m. (Eastern) of the day HHS receives the 1,200 completed applications. The application process will close by Monday, December 7 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern) if fewer than 1,200 applications are received.
The Emerging Leaders Program is a competitive, two-year paid, federal internship with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). The Program provides a unique opportunity to develop enhanced leadership skills in one of the largest federal agencies in the nation.
The Emerging Leaders Program offers participants the following:
- Formal competency-based leadership training and professional development;
- Challenging developmental rotational assignments;
Mentorship;
- Fast-pace and diverse work environment; and
- Promotion and non-competitive conversion to a permanent appointment.
