Get Involved
Get Involved with the Community-Based Primary Health Care Working Group!
The CBPHC-WG encourages everyone interested in Community-Based Primary Health Care to get involved. There are several options to participate:
CBPHC Listserve Join the CBPHC listserve by sending an e-mail to freeman.p.a@att.net. The listserve provides a venue to share resources, announce events, discuss issues, problem solve, and network. The listserve is moderated to ensure that all postings are on-subject.
Training Resources Connie Gates has been compiling CBPHC Training Resources. If you are aware of any training programs, tools, or materials, please e-mail Connie at connie@jamkhed.org.
Leadership Team Contact us if you are interested in joining the CBPHC-WG leadership team. Opportunities include designing the annual education institute and taking the lead on projects.
WHO and CBPHC The twenty-fifth anniversary of the Health for All Declaration of Alma Ata has prompted a reanalysis of the role of CBPHC by the World Health Organization. CBPHC-WG member Jack Bryant, jbryant.moscow@att.nt, is working with the WHO to redefine the concepts and principles of CBPHC and how it can best promote Health for All.
Your Ideas CBPHC-WG is interested in the ideas of its members. If you have an idea for a project or event and the energy to lead the effort, please let us know.
