1. Assist Nominations Chair in preparing competitive/diverse slate
2. Nominate section members to APHA leadership appointments

2. Produce at least 2 Newsletters

2. In 2008, the CHPPD Section hosted 3 business meetings. In 2009, the section will host four business meetings.
3. In 2008, the section hosted an informal social. In 2009, the section will host a formal 40th anniversary celebration.

2. CHPPD section member will take a strong role in proposing policy. In 2009, it on "Public Critical Role in Health Reform"

1. Provide information on how your section will work with Student Assembly representatives to sponsor at least 1 student-focused activity at Annual Meeting.
2. Provide listing of student members identified/appointed to key section committees (e.g., program, social and membership committees)

1b. The CHPPD Student Committee is working with the Student Assembly to co-sponsor joint career sessions.
