CHPPD Section Organizational Chart

The Community Health Planning and Policy Development (CHPPD) Section follows a legislative, shared decision-making model.  The standing committees are permanent entities within the section, as set up by the American Public Health Association.  The strategic issues and teams vary based on member interest, initiative and need.

In 2008-09, the CHPP Section has four committees: Governance, Policy Development, Program Planning, and Student Involvement, and has been focusing on three issues: Health Reform, Public Health Information Technology and Built Communities.  For more information on section committees, issues and activities, contact members on the chair, chair elect or membership chair on the leadership roster.
