Program Planning

Program Planning involves working on the Annual Meeting, continuing education opportunities, and any opportunity that involves knowledge or skills growth of professionals. The Community Health Planning and Policy Development (CHPPD) Section assists with organizing and coordinating submissions for presentation and papers related to “planning and policy development” at the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting & Exposition. 

The 2012 APHA Annual Meeting & Exposition will be in San Francisco, October 27 – 31. The APHA Meeting website has a wealth of resources related to the Annual Meeting ranging from onsite services, accessibility, highlights and events. If you interested in helping with annual meeting preparations, either by reviewing abstracts, orienting new members, or staffing the exhibit booth or have any suggestions, please contact the program chair or the section chair listed on the leadership roster.
