About CHPPD

The Community Health Planning and Policy Development (CHPPD) Section members are diverse. Section members network through member engagement, policy developmentprogram planning and student involvement initiatives.  If you would like to get involved with the CHPPD Section, please contact any member on the leadership roster.

“Community”, “Planning” and “Policy Development” are key words that draw members to the Section. We understand the importance and power of the planning and policy development in inspiring partners to collaborate to work towards eliminating disparities and promoting healthy communities in public and private venues.

Among us are advocates, consultants, evaluators, health care and community planners, epidemiologists, health educators, informatics professionals, nurses, pharmacists, philanthropists, physicians, policy analysts, program managers, public health administrators, regulators, researchers, statisticians, students, and teaching faculty. We understand the importance and power of the planning and policy development in eliminating disparities and promoting healthy communities.
