Dear Friends:   

It is with great regret that I have to say goodbye to you all as the “Ex-newsletter editor” of the Oral Health Section of APHA. I am both happy and sad at the same time to leave this position. Happy because I am pursuing my post-doctoral program in periodontology at Boston University, which is keeping me extremely busy. Sad because I will be missing out on interacting with you all in the meantime.   

I had an enjoyable journey as the newsletter editor. I would like to take this opportunity to give  thanks to all of you for your help in making the newsletter a great success. And my special thanks and gratitude to Kathy Lituri,  Howard Pollick, Scott Presson and  Alice Horowitz for their ongoing support and encouragement.  My heartiest congratulations to Jay Friedman for his nomination to this position. My best wishes to him and Scott Presson for a successful term.
