The Callahan Memorial Award Commission serves to perpetuate the history of the dental profession by recognizing excellence in the field of dentistry in the name of one of dentistry’s giants, Ohio ’s own Dr. John Ross Callahan. It does so by:

Recognizing Excellence in the Profession. The Callahan Memorial Award Commission provides its international award annually to a person who has provided profound and impacting contributions to the art and science of dentistry and/or whose hard work, dedication and genius have improved the level of the oral health of the public.
