The International Women’s and Children’s Health and Gender Group (InWomen) is a multidisciplinary forum that addresses all aspects of the consequences of substance use.

InWomen is holding its third meeting Friday, June 11, 2010 from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Fairmont Scottsdale Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.  This meeting is held in conjunction with the NIDA International Forum and the 72nd Annual Scientific Meeting of the College on Problems of Drug Dependence.  This conference will bring together expert researchers and clinical providers passionate and committed to improving the lives of women and children.  Topics for discussion include women-centered treatment; sex and drug trafficking; pregnancy and post-partum; violence; health disparities and HIV; and co-occurring disorders.  For more information, contact Wendee Wechsberg at wmw@rti.org.
