The APHA membership approved a revision of the Constitution and Bylaws that merged the two documents into a single, simplified document.  This merged document, Bylaws of the American Public Health Association, can be viewed at http://www.apha.org/NR/rdonlyres/739272BC-917F-4058-993B-CC76AC67CAEF/0/APHABylawsApril2008.pdf. 

At the November 2008 APHA Annual Meeting, the HIV/AIDS Section amended its operational polices to define a quorum, defined the methods to be used for amending the Section’s Operational Polices, established minimal requirements for officers, and established criteria and processes for removal of Section officers from office.  The revised Operational Policies will be posted to the Section Web site under the Overview link soon.
