Colleagues, I am disappointed to request that I be relieved of my duties as a member of Governing Council for the HIV/AIDS Section.  My administrative responsibilites have increased significantly at IU over the past few months, and I just don't feel like I can do the Section justice as a GC member. This is an important body within APHA, and our Section would benefit from someone who can actually be a more active participant in the activities of the GC. I do plan to remain active within the Section, but to have someone represent us who can be more proactive than I can be at present would be mutually beneficial. Thanks in advance, Michael

So, I would like to solicit nominations (for yourself or someone else) by email until Friday, September 23.  At that time, I will send out a brief survey and we (HIV leadership) can vote on who should take over the responsibilities for Michael. Thanks to Michael for all the time and service he has provided to our Section.
