The University of Kentucky College of Public Health has issued a Call for Proposals: "Assuring the Future of Public Health Systems Research."  Ten mini-grants in the amount of $5,000 each will be awarded to junior faculty or individuals within three years of their terminal degree.  Proposed projects must be secondary data analysis using a dataset found in the PHSR subset of the National Library of Medicine’s Health Services and Sciences Research Resources (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/nichsr/hsrr_search/) and must be completed in 12 months. Proposals must be submitted no later than Friday, Oct. 6, 2006, by 5:00 p.m. EST.
