The 2005 Association of Public Health Laboratories (APHL) Annual Meeting will be held at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center, Salt Lake City, from June 26-28, 2005. It will consist of a business meeting, keynote session, general sessions, and exhibits all over the course of two-and-a-half days. This year's meeting features a sold-out exhibit hall and a program that includes coverage of public health issues ranging from informatics to bioterrorism, from emerging technology to chemical terrorism. Sessions will also cover environmental issues, food safety, emerging infectious diseases and public health genomics. The Annual Meeting is the APHL membership meeting. Attendees include state, county, city and local public health lab directors and senior staff, government and private laboratory personnel, and others interested in public health and environmental health laboratory issues.
