We have all come from the 133rd Annual Meeting of the American Public Health Association with renewed zeal to work collaboratively with other public health providers in ensuring the public's health with evidence-based policy and practice as an effective tool which offers the necessary changes and promotes the continuity of such policy and practice from a chiropractic perspective.

We were elated with the enthusiasm and cooperation expressed by members in attendance in volunteering to work as committee chairpersons and members. The support was contagious and proved that we can work to give chiropractic a voice in this historic public health organization.

Membership will remain central to our goal, and as such enlists the overall efforts of all members to encourage participation in recruitment and retention. Our goal is to bring our membership to five hundred members prior to the next session in Boston,  Nov. 4-8, 2006.
