Announcements and Discussions

Nominations have been received for the upcoming elections to begin 2012.  Will see electronic ballots via email in May, and voting will take place.  Seats are open for chair elect, Governing Council, and Section Council. 

APHA Annual Meeting will be held October 29-Nov 2. 

            CHC will be conducting two joint sessions this year with occupational health and health education and promotion.

            27 papers have been submitted.

            Dynamic Chiropractic Articles

            Continue to need authors to submit articles for the public health column

            Claire Johnson and Lori Byrd both submitted a proposal for the CHC Facebook page

            Website discussion continued and motion was brought up to have the site updated with the inclusion of the immunization information resource.  Motion was carried and passed. 

APHA Membership

            Northwestern Health Sciences University will start compulsatory APHA membership for their students.  This will increase membership and will bring four schools total: NYCC, SCUHS, and WSU.
