Lighthouse International, with support from Novartis Ophthalmics, has launched a national public awareness campaign entitled Vision Loss is Not a Normal Part of Aging — Open Your Eyes to the Facts!

Too many older adults still believe — mistakenly — that vision impairment is a natural part of aging and do not seek help. To dispel this myth, Lighthouse has produced a booklet, which provides vital information for older adults and their support networks.
