UCLA Endowed Faculty Chair in Geriatrics/Gerontology

The Division of Geriatrics of the Department of Medicine, University of California, Los Angeles, invites applications at the tenured Associate or Full Professor level for the Anna and Harry Borun Chair in Geriatrics/Gerontology.  The Chair also serves as Director of the Borun Center for Gerontological Research.  The position requires a PhD and/or MD degree and a strong track record in applied research to improve the quality of life of frail older persons.  The research program may focus on public policy, health care systems, health care institutions, providers and/or older persons.  Candidates must have demonstrated ability to organize, lead, and oversee multidisciplinary research programs.  UCLA is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.  Women and minorities are encouraged to apply.  Please send a cover letter, CV and names of three references by Sept. 30, 2006, to Dr. Alison A.
