Being a part of one of APHA's 25 Sections or 8 Special Primary Interest Groups offers many benefits to APHA members, from networking with others in your field to sharing information at the Annual Meeting.
Another key benefit is the Section or SPIG newsletter, available through the APHA Web site. The newsletters provide articles on topics of interest to the Section/SPIG as well as articles on how the Section/SPIG is advancing the profession, links to relevant Web sites, information on obtaining professional resources, messages from the chair, information on upcoming conferences and the APHA Annual Meeting.
Articles can be submitted during the following open periods:
Winter 2009: January 9th - February 9th
Spring 2009: May 8th - June 8th
Fall 2009: August 21st - September 21st
