E-ssentialLearning Recorded Presentations
APHA provides computers and web based technology for all oral scientific sessions which enables voice and PowerPoint presentations to be recorded and uploaded to the APHA web site following the meeting, thus extending the life of the meeting and providing access to hundreds of actual scientific session presentations that Annual Meeting registrants may have missed while attending other sessions.
2008 Annual Meeting attendees can receive full access to these expanded sessions by registering for E-ssentialLearning on the Annual Meeting registration form. Discounted fees of $40 for Annual Meeting session presenters, $65 for APHA members (who are not session presenters), and $120 for non-members are in effect for anyone registering for the full APHA Annual Meeting by the September 22 pre-registration deadline. These fees will increase to $70, $120 and $230 respectively for anyone registering onsite at the Annual Meeting in San Diego.
Log-in information and password access to the E-ssentialLearning sessions are provided to registrants three weeks following the Annual Meeting. Recorded presentations are identified by a blue/green icon on the online program.
Note: Accessing E-ssentialLearning requires a high speed internet connectivity (128kbps) such as DSL or cable modem.
Past Annual Meetings - Accessing Recorded Presentations
If you purchased E-ssentialLearning for the 2004-2007 Annual Meetings, you should receive an e-mail notification approximately three weeks after the meeting which provides your user name and password to access the recorded presentations through the Online Program. Click on a Section, and locate a presentation that has a blue/green icon, which denotes a successfully recorded presentation.
