Press Office Information
The APHA Press Office will be located in Room 14A of the San Diego Convention Center. Reporters can register in advance or on site in the Press Office. Reporters must visit the Press Office in order to pick up a press badge, Annual Meeting Final Program and press kit.
Complimentary continental breakfast will be provided at the start of each morning.
Press Office Hours
Sunday, Oct. 26, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 28, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 8 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Press Work Room
APHA provides a work room for the exclusive use of reporters. The Press Work Room is open during Press Office hours. Phones (long distance calls will require a credit card), PCs with Internet access and a printer are provided.
The room may only be used by credentialed reporters who have registered to cover the meeting.
News Conferences
There will be several briefings for reporters during the meeting. A final schedule will be available on site in the Press Office. Attendance at press briefings is limited to registered journalists.
Embargoes
All presentations scheduled during the APHA Annual Meeting are embargoed until the day and time of the presentation.
