Message Center Accommodation

For blind, or visually impaired registrants, all the computers in Message Center run on the new Panther operating system, which has a built in screen reading function.  Please ask staff for assistance with this screen reading capability (headsets are available).  From the Message Center, registrants can access the Online Program, Annual Meeting email, personal email accounts, the Virtual Expo, the APHA Web site and more. Please note: prior to the meeting, room locations are not provided in the Online Program. However, once the registration badges are mailed in mid October, room locations will be visible on the Personal Scheduler (last name and registration ID number are required to access room locations).

Use of Personal Assistant

Should you require an aide or personal assistant to help you navigate the Annual Meeting, APHA will register your aide as a complimentary guest. Please contact the APHA registration company directly once you have submitted your registration and they will add the aide to your record.

Final Program in Alternative Format

The Final Program and Abstracts can be requested in a digital format (CD). Be sure to contact access@apha.org at least 2 weeks before the meeting if you require digital format.
