American Sign Language Interpreters (ASL)

The APHA Opening and Closing General Sessions, APHA Special Sessions and Disability Forum sessions will have an ASL interpreter assigned to the program. Interpreters can also be arranged for hearing impaired registrants at other scientific sessions if notice is given at least one month in advance of the meeting. An ASL Request Form (PDF file), indicating the sessions you plan to attend, must be submitted to APHA no later than September 25, 2008. Download copies of the form or contact access@apha.org. The form requires that you provide a schedule of sessions you wish to attend. Please use the personal scheduler function to assist you in arranging your schedule. Simply select the sessions you wish to attend and then print out a copy of your personal schedule and submit it along with the ASL Request Form.
