Assistive Listening Devices

For registrants who are hard of hearing, a limited number of assistive listening devices will be available.  There will be no charge for the use of these devices, available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Arrangements can be made on site. Keep in mind however, that this technology involves the installation of "transmitters" in the sessions you wish to attend.

It is suggested that you submit your Assistive Listening Device Form in advance of the Annual Meeting. One-day advance notice is required in order to provide technicians with sufficient time to install the devices. Please email the form to access@apha.org or fax to (202) 777-2530 Attn: Priya Bose.

Requests for assistive listening devices can be made on-site through the AVMG Audio Visual Office at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.

Headphones that enable you to take advantage of these transmitters can be picked up at AVMG Audio Visual Office.
