The Law Section works at the intersection of law and public health. The members of the Law Section represent a transdisciplinary community of public health practitioners, lawyers, policymakers, researchers, and students who are committed to advancing health and health equity through law and policy.

Our Work

We work to achieve our mission through the following priorities:

  • Highlight the critical role law plays in protecting and advancing public health Network with a range of disciplinary perspectives to improve the scope and practice of public health law.
  • Develop partnerships among scholars, researchers, and practitioners to shape the use of legal tools and methods for public health.

Member Benefits
