Rebuilding the Public Health Infrastructure

Over the past several years, Federal funding for important public health programs and agencies has been threatened and even cut -- dramatically underscoring the need to educate the Administration, members of Congress, and the public about the vital role of public health programs in the United States.

APHA continues to lead the advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill to inform members of Congress about the success of adequately funded public health programs in an effort to restore and increase funding in this critical area.
