Priorities
The American Public Health Association is the oldest organization of public health professionals and represents more than 50,000 members from over 50 public health occupations. We focus our advocacy and policy work around three overarching priority areas:
APHA also has the flexibility to quickly act, when appropriate, to other pressing public health issues that may not easily be categorized under the three overarching priority areas.
