APHA Welcomes Koh as New Assistant Secretary for Health

Washington , D.C. , June 22, 2009 – “The American Public Health Association (APHA) welcomes today’s confirmation of Association member Dr. H oward Koh as the next Assistant Secretary for Health for the Department of Health and Human Services .

 

“From his recent experience with the Harvard School of Public Health to his years spent as Massachusetts’ public health commissioner, Koh has long demonstrated his commitment to promoting prevention and wellness and proven himself to be a thoughtful public health leader.
