Press Registration Now Open for 2008 American Public Health Association Annual Meeting in San Diego
October Meeting Will Draw 13,000 Public Health Experts
Washington, D.C., July 9, 2008 -- Press registration for the American Public Health Association's 136th Annual Meeting & Exposition at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif., Oct. 25-29, is now open. Press registration is available at http://www.apha.org/about/news/ampressinfo/.
The 2008 APHA Annual Meeting & Exposition is themed "Public Health Without Borders” and will cover a diversity of topics, including immigrant and refugee health; water and land rights; coordinating disease surveillance and epidemiologic response activities across borders; air and water pollution management across borders; and the international transmission of socio-cultural behaviors with adverse health implications.
The APHA Annual Meeting & Exposition is the oldest and largest gathering of public health professionals in the world. All APHA Annual Meeting scientific sessions are listed online and are fully searchable.
