The 2009 APHA Annual Meeting & Exposition, themed "Water and Public Health: the 21st Century Challenge," will explore the latest public health challenges and learn what can be done to protect our resources, our health and our world.
Journalists attending the meeting, November 7-11, 2009, in Philadelphia, Pa., will glean research and knowledge first-hand from experts who will address the leading challenges to public health and explore strategies to confront health issues around the globe.
Public health researchers, academicians, policy-makers and practitioners will present more than 4,000 scientific papers at over 1,000 sessions focusing on the latest public health challenges, including oral presentations, roundtable workshops, poster sessions and panel discussions.
