Annual Meeting Press Information

The 2012 APHA Annual Meeting & Exposition, themed "Prevention and Wellness Across the Life Span," presents an opportunity to discuss the impact prevention and wellness have on health, both physical and mental, at all ages.  

Journalists attending the meeting, Oct. 27-Oct. 31, 2012 in San Francisco, will glean research and knowledge first-hand from experts who will address the leading challenges to public health and explore strategies to confront health issues around the globe. It is a wonderful networking opportunity.

Public health researchers, academicians, policy-makers and practitioners will present more than 4,000 scientific papers at over 1,000 sessions focusing on the latest public health challenges, including oral presentations, roundtable workshops, poster sessions and panel discussions.
