Generation Public Health
From strengthening emergency preparedness to studying the health impacts of climate change, from helping expand access to affordable, quality health care to monitoring safe water, food and air, public health works to prevent health issues before they occur.
Why? To reduce human suffering, improve quality of life, extend life expectancy and, ultimately, save resources over the long term. Clean air and water, vaccines that prevent disease, food inspectors who ensure a safe food supply and seat belt laws that reduce traffic fatalities are all examples of public health at work.
The American Public Health Association champions the health of all people and all communities.
When you donate to Generation Public Health, you join a network of individuals who are committed to improving our collective health.
