Description:

With ever-changing immunization schedules and increasing antibiotic resistance in the community, it creates a challenge to primary care practitioners. This full-day CME activity will arm attendees with current concepts in infectious disease for immediate use in primary care medicine. Our featured speakers include two outstanding leaders in the field: Steven Gordon, MD, Chair of Infectious Disease at the Cleveland Clinic, and Doug Campos-Outcalt, MD, American Academy of Family Medicine liaison to the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices and to the United States Preventive Services Task Force. Our goal is for you to acquire current, practical concepts in infectious disease including the resources that will keep you on the forefront of outpatient prevention and management of infectious disease.
