Description: The 2009 Forum is sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and co-hosted by the Oregon Department of Human Services. General topics for the 2009 Forum include: • Sampling and Analysis / Emergent contaminants, • Risk Assessment / Toxicology/ Biomonitoring, • Risk Management, • Risk Communication, • Weighing Risks and Benefits of Fish Consumption.
Who Should Attend: Public health and environmental officials from state, tribal, and federal agencies and others interested in discussing issues related to assessing, managing, and communicating health risks and benefits associated with fish consumption.
Call for Posters: The Poster Session, scheduled for Monday, November 2, will give participants a chance to meet with their peers to informally discuss current topics. If you want to submit a poster, please send us an abstract (to snw@rti.org) no later than September 15. You can obtain additional information about the poster session on the conference Web site listed below.
