Personal Statement about APHA-SA:
While pursuing my master's, I decide to get involve with APHA to learn about public health at the national level. This led me to get involved with Injury Prevention Section of APHA and the Epidemiology Section as well as the Student Assembly. In 2011, I had four scientific presentations at the APHA Annual Meeting and received the Outstanding Student Award of the Year from the Committee of Affiliates. I have an interest in involving more students with APHA, working for the benefit of all students and address their concerns for AJPH.
