The CHPPD Student Committee is a standing committee of the Community Health Planning and Policy Development Section, whose purpose is to represent the voice and experience of student members to CHPPD Section leadership, to represent the CHPPD Section to the Student Assembly, and to serve as a mechanism for involving student members in CHPPD committees and leadership roles.
Sign up at the CHPPD's Facebook group to get involved in the CHPPD Student Committee. Don’t worry, we won’t clog up your inbox with emails! We’ll just pass along announcements regarding funding, leadership, action, and other opportunities available to students in our section. It’s nice to have a community within the huge organization that is APHA, and so we are working hard to make sure the student members of CHPPD feel they are a part of one.
In addition, the Student Involvement Committee Representatives are involved with coordinating nominations for student awards, and communications.
