Strange Bedfellows Make Powerful Champions: Emerging Partnerships in Public Health
Breakout Session 3000.0 Thursday, June 28 - 8:30AM-10:00AM
The health system is changing rapidly and the public health community has often been the leader in innovation and change. The National Prevention Strategy and the National Prevention Council’s leadership within the federal government have enhanced the focus on health in all policies. The public health community has many opportunities and role models for unique partnerships which can spotlight their work. This session will focus on how the prevention and wellness message can be amplified using these partnerships to offer new forum for conversation and bringing new champions to the discussion.
