Almost a decade has passed since the Institute of Medicine report entitled “Who Will Keep the Public Healthy” described concern over the lack of available public health professionals to provide essential public health services. Themes in the report included enumeration, education, competencies and recruitment.
This session will address issues of workforce enumeration, development, education, recruitment & credentialing.
